Well, I've made an instagram-like icons and etc, but just brought in iphone-looking video for the test.
Actually it is applying 'track matte'.
First, make a full-length chat records with Photoshop.
We are going to make a 'frame', which has no photos but only the frames, and move the full-length chat from the top to the bottom.
Imagine people can only see the area WITHIN the frames. That's what we're gonna do.
Second, place your chat list like this.
Third, see this video and apply it to your work. Like this youtuber did, we're going to reveal only the 'last 4 chats'.
Lastly, all you have to do is simple.
(1)press clock-looking icon in 'Position'
(2)when you want to show a new chat, place a marker and ANOTHER after 3-4 frames. you can move by a frame by pressing SHIFT+Right/Left.
(3)change the position of SECOND marker
(4)change the movement smoothly like I did on this post below:
